    Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins


    Recipe Description
    These are so good!
    Preparation Steps:
    Preheat oven 350 and lightly grease muffin tins.
    Level of Difficulty:
    Easy
    Time Needed:Ingredients:
    2 cups all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp of salt
    1 cup sugar
    1/3 cup canola oil
    4 ripe bananas, mashed
    1/4 cup water
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
    1 cup walnuts(optional)
    Serves:Directions:
    In med bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt together.
    In a large bowl, beat the sugar and oil together, then add the mashed bananas. Stir in the water and vanilla and mix thoroughly. Add the flour mixture, along with the chocolate chips, and stir to mix.
    Fill each muffin tin halfway with the batter Bake for 20 to 30 min.

    Yield 12 muffins.

    Might have to do this.........I have some 'nanas to get rid of.....and they sound good.

    Wonder.......have you ever left out the choc. chips and added P butter?

    Oh, these sound really good. Hmmm...I've got a bunch of bananas I wanted to use. This sounds just like something my guys would die for. Gotta leave out the nuts though, DS1 does not like nuts.

    sounds absolutely yummy

    wonder if you could use whole wheat flour? would the amount change?

    I never knew there was a difference? I just switched to whole wheat flour and am still on my first bag. I used whole wheat flour tonight and everybody likes them!

    thanks! just wasnt sure if there was a difference...will give these a go w/ whole wheat flour and report back
