banana's for monkey breadbanana's for monkey bread
Recipe DescriptionHomemade monkey bread that'll dissapear instantly!Preparation Steps:grease bundt pan, set aside. heat ove to 350*Level of Difficulty:
warm your milk and shortening on the stovetop on very low until shortening is melted, turn off heat.
Mix flour, salt baking powder and milk mixture until dough forms.
Roll out to 1/2 thickness and cut with biscuit cutter ( I use an upsidedown cup)EasyTime Needed:30 minutesIngredients:2 c milkServes:
1 Tbsp shortening
4 c bread flour
2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp + 1teaspoon baking powder
2 very ripe banana's
2 stk butter, melted
1 c cinnamon & sugar mixed divided1 bundt loafDirections:cut each biscuit in 4 pieces. Toss in dry cinnamon & sugar mix.
Drop biscuit pieces into greased bundt pan until bottom is covered. Then slice 1 banana and cover biscuits with banana pieces. Another layer of bicuit pieces, another layer of the 2nd banana
Last layer of biscuit pieces.
Mix melted butter and cinnamon and sugar until it's very thick.
Pour into bundt pan over biscuits & banana's.
Bake for 20-30 minutes.
NOTE-put a pan under your bundt pan, it bubbles over a little!
This turns out amazing. My family devoured the whole thing!
