1- cup softened butter or margarine
3-cups sugar
3-eggs
3-cups all purpose flour
1-teaspoon baking powder
1-teaspoon baking soda
1-teaspoon salt
1-teaspoon ground cinnamon
1-teaspoon cloves
1/2-teaspoon ground nutmeg
1-small can pumpkin or 1-3/4 cups cooked pumpkin
1-teaspoon vanilla extract
1-cup raisins
1-cup chopped pecans
cream butter gradually add sugar beating well.Add eggs one at a time beating well after each
addition.Combine next 7 ingredients add to creamed mixture alternately with pumpkin.Stir in
vanilla,raisins,and pecans.Spoon into 3 loaf pans that has been greased and floured.Bake at 350*
for 1 hour or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.Cool in pan 10 minutes;remove
from pans cool completely on wire rack.

I just made a pumpkin bread that I saw online. I have come to the conclusion that I cannot make pumpkin bread. It comes out dense and uncooked, no matter what I do. Ugh.
