DD catch up
So I got DD's report card this week. She is doing well but still behind in many areas. But I am so proud of her she has been trying so hard. I have an IPRC meeting this week to discuss changes to her IEP and they will let me know if she will be going to a special Education school half days starting in Grade 4. I have also started a parenting course for dealing with children with severe ADHD. It is good so far, I wish my ex would go but he won't.

I really think you are an amazing mom. I don't have all the issues you struggle w/ (not saying I don't have any lol) And I didn't do as well dealing w/ the ADD/ADhD and depression. Or the school system for that matter.
You be proud of her progress and your part in it (thats an order, hehe!)

I don't mean to pry but I was wondering why your daughter needs an IEP? Actually that's what caught my attention. My son has an IEP, He has Asperger syndrome and has had an IEP for most of his life and grades have always been an issue. He is High school but I'm concerned about when he graduates. I have reservations about him moving out on his own.

My daughter has an an IEP because she is severe ADHD, has a learning disability, and slow processing speed. She also has anxiety and has hallucinations. She also works with an OT because of fine motor skill issues.
Navy Ken There might be local agencies that have independent living homes where a worker stays and the residence still have support. I would look into that for your son.
