so proud of my little guy
Zachary's speech pathologist just called me a bit ago to tell me how well Zachary is doing in speech. He attends therapy with another little boy during the summer.
I'm just so proud of this child. He has made so much progress. It wasn't long ago that he couldn't point out a single object in a book. There was a time when his receptive skills were considered to be quite low and his expressive skills were severely impaired.
He continues to completely blow me away with his learning and progress.
It just meant so much to me to have her call me. This is the same pathologist who very first evaluated him just before he was 2 yrs old. We had so many concerns then on whether he would ever gain speech at all and honestly didn't know what the future held.
He has leaped hurdles and I couldn't be more proud of this child. I don't know what the future holds, but I can say that I have so much faith in his potential.

What a wonderful encouraging post to read this morning Sara. I always love reading how our kids are doing and the hurdles they are jumping. Its an incredible testament to their spirits, to their parents and to the special people who work with them.
Zachary has definitely jumped many hurdles and its incredible to see how far he has come. WTG Zachary.

Congratulations Zach and Sara. Keep at it, all things come in God's own time, not ours, somethimes in the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives we forget that. I pray for many more blessings for your family.

Congratulations on Zachary's wonderful progess. He has a bright future ahead of himself. My favorite Bible verse is:
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
That is so true. I know that God has big plans for Zach.

What a blessing. So often we only hear the negative things and it's just so wonderful to hear something so special and positive. I would agree that this is a huge testament to what love and faith can do.
