When you want to escape from it all, where do you go?

When everything seems so overwhelming and you feel you can't take another minute of it, where do you go? Do you have a special place where you can just sit, catch your breath, count to ten and get new perspective.

My favorite place to go is our upstairs foyer, where I can look outside and see the trees blowing in the breeze, where I can watch different birds, where I can see the blue sky. I only need to go there for a few minutes, to get refocused. It helps when I'm really overwhelmed with the kids.

Do you have a special place?

i am hoping to have my yellow room done soon and i will go there. but for now i go to the back yard and talk to the dog or if i can get away i go to the cemetery. Okay you all know i am crazy i just keep proving it. It is so quiet and peaceful there.

My getaway is the Zoo. Tyler and I go there alot by ourselves to relax.

When I need to be alone, I go on the subway to Manhattan, to the seaport. I watch the boats on the water, do some window shopping, maybe read a good book. My house is too small for me to have my pwn private space.
