Question Sara, how is Zachary doing in pre-school?

How is he handling it? Is it what you expected it would be? Any disappointments so far? Successes?

Goodness, not sure how I missed this post. Sorry about that.
He's loving school. He only dislikes Tuesdays because he has OT right before class. LOL
On the weekends he jumps up and says SCHOOL (coooool) and I say umm not today honey it's the weekend. He asks tomorrow (morrow)? LOL
He is going through a language burst with being immersed with others. I couldn't be more thrilled. Don't get me wrong, he's not "talking" up a storm, but tons of new word approximations and a lot more vocal intent.
I've seen some big changes in him that I am so proud of. Some of our largest obstacles seem to have been overcome this month.
Ex: bedtime routine and bathtime. I can't believe my son now runs to the tub for a bath and hops in and SITS!!! and lets his hair be washed!!! OT is a blessing and I can't believe the changes. Another HUUUGE change is swinging. Zachary has gravitational issues and hates to swing etc. Well, lo and behold hasn't he gone on the swings last two times at the playground???
Gabe and I went to pick him up at school today. I usually, go in with Gabe, but decided to stay in the car this time. Zachary got to the car and wasn't expecting me to be in it and says really loud HI MOM!!! I wanted to just cry. See now? I am getting all tears and weepy thinking about it.

Thank you for asking about him.
    Sara

What wonderful news to share. I always love reading these kinds of successes with our kids. Just brings a tear to my eye and all I can say is "thank you God".

OT was a blessing for us also with both our boys. I can't thank them enough for what they did for us.
