    Wink Easy Bagel Pudding

    Easy Bagel Pudding

    Recipe Description
(There wasn't a dessert section, and this is as easy as making a cake)

Great recipe for using up left over bagels!! I used blueberry bagels this time around and it was so good I wanted to give you each a piece.
    Preparation Steps:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F

butter 9 x9 inch glass baking dish
    Level of Difficulty:
    Easy
    Time Needed:
    35/40 mins baking
    Ingredients:
    5 regular-sized bagels (torn into bite-size pieces)
    2 cups milk
3/4 cup sugar, more if you like it sweet
    1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
    3 large eggs, beaten

    optional - fruits (like blueberries)
    Serves:
    4 - 6
    Directions:
Place torn bagels in large mixing bowl; pour milk over and let absorb for about 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, melt butter and let it cool. When cooled, mix with beaten eggs and remaining ingredients.

Combine with bagel mixture (add any fruit you had now)

Pour into prepared baking dish; place in center of oven. Bake uncovered for about 35-40 minutes or until knife inserted in center come out clean.

Is this bread pudding but using bagels? I don't think I've tried bread pudding either but the fruity bagel one sounds delish!

    Yes.

You can make bread pudding with any leftover bread. I gave the bagels a try. (I bought the bagels and then my toaster died and I didn't want them to go to waste)

Wonder if this would work with homemade pizza crust? I made 4 mini ones and my family doesn't like them.
