Where is your favorite camping spot?

Mine has got to be in the mountains, in fact near Banff national park. I love the crystal green water, looking out and seeing snow covered mountains.

I would have to say in the mountians also. My dbf and I really want to go to the mountians in VA but we just haven't had a chance yet. We have just gone to some local campsites around here.

We have no mountains here..... I love a little place called beaver dam ... It is a thickly wooded area with lots of animals and trails, a lake and streams for us to explore....

I love camping in MAINE LOL. there are some great places that are not really camping places but if you choose a logging road that isn't in use

you can camp on those we have had a blast in those places.
and at the ocean would have to be my other favorite place.

We usually camp in the Sierra Mountains and it is beautiful but the last couple of years we have been camping along the coast of California (mostly Northern) and I love it there too!!!!!!!!

We love to camp along the Northern California Coast too. Our favorite place to camp is in Bodega Bay. We camp there at least once every year.

We like to camp at the end of a dirt road, on the river, where we can run around naked if we want to!

we love to camp at the red river gorge/natural bridge area in kentucky! it is soooo beautiful! love those kentucky hills/mountains!!

Our favotite spot in Fountainbleau State Park here in La, we go there at least once a month. Its only 25 minutes away from home, so its very convenient. We are leaving Friday for an exteded weekend there, cant wait!!!

I love to camp at the lake, we have 2 really pretty lakes within about 40 miles from where we live. One is a state park and the other is a Core of Engineers lake, they are both very nicely maintained and have full hookups for the motorhome, I love the convenience of electricy and water. I even enjoy going when the weather is cool. I love just getting away from the house.

KathiS~we love Bodega Bay!!!!! We have never camped there though!

Every year we come through that area and dh and I look at each other and say "next year we camp here!!!" Hasn't happened yet! Hopefully soon we will camp there!!

Amen to that! KY has the best State Parks in the Nation!
