We went camping Father's Day weekend and had a blast! You didn't say whether you were using a tent or camper...we slept in a tent. Here is a list of what we took.
~tent and air mattress/air pump
~pillows and blankets/sheet
~sunscreen, aloe vera gel
~water shoes(saved our feet!), swim suits and beach towels
~clothes line and clothes pins..to hang between 2 trees to dry wet suits and towels
~iron skillet, spatula, large spoon, paper plates, gallon baggies, aluminum foil, forks, paper towels, cups
~coolers...1 for drinks and one for food(hot dogs, cheese, condiments, lunch meat, bacon, eggs)
~trash bags
~toiletries..deodorant, baby wipes, toilet paper, shampoo, soap, toothbrush and paste
~dish soap and disinfectant wipes
~fan and drop cord (we had electric available)
~mosquito spray and citronella candles
~snack foods (crackers, snack cakes, chips, beef jerky) and don't forget the marshmellows, graham crachers and chocolate for smores!
~hot dog roasting wires
~plastic table cloth with hooks to hold it in place
~flash light, lantern, extra batteries, radio
~lawn chairs
~matches, hammer
~I put all the food in a big plastic tub..keeps the critters out lol
Hope this helps!

Don't forget flip-flops! The shower floors on campsites can get pretty gross! I always bring things to entertain me. I'll bring a book, frisbee, ball, etc.
