The only freebie site I go to is

    http://canadian-freebies-n-stuff.com/forum/

It's a great site. It has lots of freebies and contests.

Can't get much further East than here in Nova Scotia! I'm a Maritimer, born, raised and still residing. I guess I'm okay with living in Canada -- I have never lived anywhere other than Nova Scotia, so I really don't know what is the difference. I think that, eventually, and I will move around a bit more, but for now it looks like we'll be here a few more years.

So far we have covered: Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, PEI and Nova Scotia. Only three territories and five provinces left.....

Woohoo! The Frugal Village philosophy is spreading....

I live about 1 hour north of Toronto. I have always lived in Ontario except for one summer when I lived and worked in Lake Louise, Alberta.

Well, I actually live in the United Kingdom, but have a holiday home in Alberta. Does that count?
I wish I could call Canada my home. It is the most beautiful place on this planet.
Hope you all have a good day.

Oooh, where's your holiday home? I haven't been very many places (i.e. nowhere outside North America), but I think Canada's pretty beautiful too.

Our holiday home is in Alberta, north of Edmonton. We've had it for 2 years now, and try to visit twice a year. My next trip is in 1 1/2 weeks!!! I can't wait!!!

I live in southeastren Ontario. But was born in Slave Lake Alberta and lived out west until I was about 7. But have lived here and there in southeastren Ontario since. I also use save.ca and it is pretty good.

I',m also from Medicine Hat, Alberta. Moved here from Nanaimo, Vancouver Island, B.C. 15 years ago. Took me a while to get used to NO RAIN, and like Danni, miss the mountains & ocean, FRESH FISH & TREES!!!

I live about 65km north of Edmonton (Westlock)...I agree, it's beautiful. I can't wait until the snow is gone and the new leaves are coming out on the trees.

Helga, I know what you mean....I've been to Medicine Hat before, and it certainly looked pretty desolate as we were driving through. Sounds like you need a good long vacation in Jasper to get your tree and mountain fix.

I can't believe it Amy. My holiday home is about 1/2 hour away from Westlock. How strange is that!!!

Maybe we could get together one day when I'm there. It would be nice to get to know more people in Westlock. No pressure though!

Let me know. PM me if you want.
