My favorite candy recipe
1 & 1/2 lbs of vanilla almond bark
1 c. spanish peanuts (no substitutes)
1 c. peanut butter
3 c. rice krispies
3 & 1/4 c. minature marshmellows
Measure out all the dry ingredients into
large bowl. Cover until ready to use.
Break up almond bark and place into large
pan or stainless steel bowl. Place bowl
on stove on LOW heat, stirring frequently
until bark is completely melted.
Stir peanut butter into melted bark. Pour
over dry ingredients and mix WELL. Drop
by spoonfuls on waxed paper. Let cool and
dry. Store in airtight container.

This sounds good. Thanks for posting it. Might have to pick up some spanish peanuts and try it.
Sort of like krispy treats....with a twist.

I made the recipe once with regular peanuts when they were out of spanish peanuts at the store. Although it is hard to understand why, it did change the flavor.
FF, that is what I always tell people....rice krispie treats with a twist.
These are much more flavorful, I believe.
I hope those of you who try the recipe will come back and let me know how you liked it....
A friend at work made this with chocolate almond bark, but I was gone that day, so didn't get to taste it. Chocolate and peanut butter does go together well. I might try it with chocolate sometime, but I love the vanilla ones!
