Chilliwack Squares -few ingr.-simle to make
1 cup margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
2 eggs
1 sleeve crackers, coarsely crushed
1 tsp. vanilla
Butter Icing:
1/4 cup margarine
2 tbsp milk
2 cups icing sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Combine the first four ingr. in asaucepan; cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Remove from heat add crackers.Press mixture into 8 in pan. Chill and frost with butter Icing.

Thanks for sharing that, miss thrifty. Is that saltine crackers or graham crackers? I know my aunt used to make an appleless pie that had saltine in it, but tasted like apple, so I wanted to make sure I got it right.
