    Default New Job!

Haven't been on here much recently because I have been an anxiety-ridden mess of a person over a possible job opportunity.

Yesterday, I did possible the worst interview I've ever done (I actually thought at one point, "Could this be what it feels like to have a stroke?", I was having so much trouble saying what I wanted to say!)

    Shockingly, I got the job.

I am sooooooooooooooo happy! This is absolutely my dream job. I am so very, very blessed!

So I'm a social worker and the job is working with residents in an urban neighbourhood that has had its share of difficulties to create opportunities for good things to happen, ie. community garden where people can grow food, outdoor movie nights for families with small children who can't afford to take their kids to much, etc. The ideas come from the people who live in the neighbourhood and myself and the other staff work to make them happen.
