    Default Never Fail Chocolate Cake

This is a nice moist cake and is also delicious hot as a dessert with custard. Tried and tested many times!

    1 Egg
    ¼ Cup cocoa
    ½ Cup margarine
    1½ Cups SR Flour
½ Cup sour milk (Made by adding 1 teaspoon vinegar)
    1 Teaspoon vanilla essence
1 Teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda (Baking soda)
    I Cup castor sugar
    ½ Cup hot water

Put all ingredients into a food processor or mixer. Do not mix until the last item has been added, then beat well until smooth.
Bake in a 9inch pan in a moderate oven for approx. 45 minutes (Depending on your oven)

Castor sugar is fine granulated Tammy, you may have another name for it in the US. If you can't buy it ready made just whizz ordinary granulated in the processor for a few seconds to get the same results! It mixes in better that the coarser granulated!

Thanks for the recipe Julia. This looks so simple to make, I love cakes that can just be whizzed up in a food processor.
