Chocolate Pecan Pie


1 1/4 cups sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 T. all-purpose flour
1 T. cornmeal
Pinch of salt
3/4 cup chopped pecans
4 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 T. vanilla
1 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie shell


Combine the sugar, cocoa, flour, cornmeal, salt, and pecans; set aside. Combine the eggs, milk, and vanilla; blend well. Combine with the sugar mixture, blending well, and pour into the pie shell. Bake at 350* for 45 minutes or until set. Cool on a wire rack.
