I have a chocolate fountain. Don't use it much, but it is fun. We share it with others when they have a need at weddings, receptions, etc.
Try this: Use potato chips and crackers, like wheat thins to dip. The salt and crunch (much like pretzels) goes well with the chocolate.
My tip: Use a really good chocolate like Ghiradellil. You need a chocolate with a very high fat content. If the fat content is too low, you might need to add veggie oil to the melted chocolate. Otherwise, it doesn't seem to flow well.Spiritual:

update
Well, the chocolate fountain was a HUGE hit! grandkids and the neighbor kids loved it! I wasnt sure how the chocolate was going to taste, you have to add 3/4 cup of vegetable oil to 24 ounces of chocolate chips and melt it together to make the chocolate flow properly. It was actually very good!
I am sure everyone will be hearing about this for days...lol
I think I have found something I can take to all of our get togethers with friends, as you can use other things, like cheese in this fountain as well....yuummmmyyyyyyy

There are some other uses for the fountain:
1. Put BBQ sauce in it, and dip bits of cooked meat
2. Put creamy peanut butter in it and dip pretzels, crackers.
3. Try different kinds of flavor chips such white chocolate, dark choc, milk chocolate.Spiritual:
