I have about 50 Christmas songs I think. They all mean diff things to me.
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas because I can hear bing crosby in my head and my now deceased dad whistling and trilling to the music. He used to unconcoiusly do it.
And jingle bells. Elementary school musicals
And Little town of Bethlehem,We three kings,Silent night from the candle light Christmas eve church services
And many more from a childhood song book

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas as sung by Judy Garland in Meet Me in St. Louis.

Hark! The Herald Angels Sing and Joy to the World.

All I Want for Christmas is You by Mariah Carey (none of the remakes).

The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire) by Johnny Mathis.

And I'm sure there are lots of more but these are off the top of my head.

Here's another one: Mary, Did You Know? written by someone who used to live here but now is a Christian songwriter/musician---Buddy Greene. Lovely song, very thought-provoking.

And I love Christmas Time is Here that was originally sung on A Charlie Brown Christmas.

    I love O Holy Night.

Also, Gloria (In Excelsis Deo). Not to be confused with Gloria by Van Morrison

"O Holy Night" and "Mary, Did You Know" are my two favorites, as sung by my daughter. I don't like to hear singers that "wallow and warble" their voices all over the place and all around the actual melody notes as popular singers do these days. I also like "Welcome To Our World". Another favorite traditional song is "Silent Night".

Deck the Halls and Here Comes Santa Clause are by far my most favorite to sing. They're upbeat and bring back childhood memories.

However .... Christmas Shoes in a very different way is also a favorite. It touches me every time I hear it.

Breath of Heaven by Amy Grant and O come, O come Emmanuel.
I'm too busy working on my own grass to notice if yours is greener.

I have several Christmas songs that I love, but my favorites today are O Holy Night by Celine Dion and Mary Did You Know by Ceelo Green. Both are beautiful!
