Will Anyone Here Be Bartering For Gifts This Year?

When I couldn't afford to buy Christmas gifts, I found that bartering was very helpful. Just wondering if anyone else has done this.

One year, I had my own business and gave a limo owner a product in exchange for our family and friends to get a ride in a limo downtown to see the holiday lights. I had to tip the driver, tho.

This year, I saw a item on Craigslist under "barter" and would give it to my hubby. The man wants camping gear, laptop, car, etc. in exchange for it but I don't have that kind of stuff. I am offering my mom's antiques and some jewelry. I don't know the value of any of it, though. That's bad, I know, but I'm not interested in any of it but I do think the hubby would like the exchange.

This is an awesome idea! When you barter sometimes it’s what it’s worth to you not the monetary value of the item. I may have to look into this. Maybe for husband’s birthday or something.
