Could someone with computer experience help me , please?
Gabe seems to be really busy lately, but did give me some help. My problem was that I could not see any threads when I would click on them .. He had me change my browser, so I did to firefox... i also downloaded the update on Adobe....Now I can see the original post on a thread, but not any replies......NOTE: I am very computer illiterate, so if you are able to help, I need it as simple as possible.....
Thank you so much, I don't want to sound ungrateful or mad at Gabe, because I am not, just having super withdrawal not being able to read anything......
Thanks again,
Sheri

Hmm. Have you checked your cookies? It's possible you have your browser set to not accept cookies from sites so you may need to manually add FV's web address into your cookies. Try this,
In firefox on the top bar click "Tools"
in the drop down menu that follows click "options"
...in the middle of the box that opens up you'll see a little box and it will say "Accept cookies from sites" ... leave that box unchecked, unless you want to be flooded with unnecessary cookies, instead on that same line, click "exemptions" and another box will open.
There will be a space there that asks for the web address of the site you want to allow cookies from. Type in frugalvillage.com, it will ask if you want to allow the cookies for the session or always allow, just click always allow. Click close, close your browser and reopen it and try that.
If that doesn't help then I'm not sure what the problem may be.
Hopefully that helps or someone else can come along and give you another idea.
EDIT...Kinda dingbatty of me to hit reply on that instead of pming it to you since you can't read replies. Pay attention Crystal!Last edited by TexasPeanut; 10-30-2008 at 02:20 PM.
