Angry Alright it's driving me NUTS!

I've got lots of clipart like this: (below)

And all of it has a VERY ANNOYING white background.

I DON'T WANT THE WHITE BACKGROUNDS!!!!!

I've tried EVERYTHING! - I went back to the instructions of putting the two cliparts together, making one of them transparent but I just can't be doing something right because I STILL have the white!

Oh PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE (lol emy does that!) PLEASEEEEEEEE - What am I doing wrong?

I want the ring on top of the picture but if I do that the WHITE (lol) just blots the picture out

I hope this will come out alright I had to change the format??? (I'm not good at that either lol) Shall I just jump in a BIG hole now? LOL

LOL - I bet that took you about 3 seconds didn't it?

I've only been stressing ALL afternoon

Yes I want to do THAT!

ALL the clipart I use comes on a white background like that and 99 times out of 100 I need it NOT there.

    Bev,

When you want a transparent background to work you need to have all your files in the same format. The only common format that support transparent background for web use is the GIF format.

Now you could probably get around the GIF format if your working in a PSP format file.

Also another file type that supports transparency is the PNG format.

Try saving all your images before editing them to the same format. Try the PNG format it has better quality than the GIF format.

copy and paste your images in PSP and save them as a .PNG file.
    (repeat for all your images)

Close all the images and re-open them with PSP and try the transparency trick from the previous tutorial.

    It should work fine.

Give it a try...it might take you a few tries to get it working properly.
