Oatmeal CookiesOatmeal Cookies
Recipe DescriptionThese are an old fashion oatmeal cookie. You can make them as big or little as you like, so they can be made bite sized or huge. Just plain yummie!Preparation Steps:set out the butter so it is room temp. Makes it cream much easier.Level of Difficulty:
Heat oven to 350easyTime Needed:about 5 minutesIngredients:2 sticks of margarine or butter, your choice.Serves:
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1-1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 cups oatmeal
add any the following:
1 cup chocolate chips, or raisins, or M&M's.
1/2 chopped walnutsmakes 3 to 5 dozen depending on size of cookiesDirections:Cream together the sugar, brown sugar, butter, vanilla and eggs. Then add the flour, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon. When mixed well add the oats. Then add any of the following that you like.

When done are they the hard type or soft?

if you over bake them at all the go hard. But you can pop them in the mirco wave with a little sprinkle of water and they are great. I also store them in a zip lock bag, it really helps them stay soft.
