They have a cakey consistency and are pretty moist. I ate two of them before dinner and they were yummy.

I plan on doing a lot of baking this summer. This is definitely something I'm going to have to try!

I think the cake mix and chips came to about $4. $4 for 48 cookies seems to be a pretty sweet deal to me. These are great because hours after I made them, they're still soft and tasty.

these were my default all through college! lemon, orange, spice, strawberry and funfetti work best! feel free to add more extracts as desired! Everyone always asked me for my "recipe"!

I'm curious -- those who use the non-chocolate cake mixes, do you still use chocolate chips?

I used a white mix and chocolate chips. They're so yummy. I imagine they're pretty good with a chocolate cake mix and some peanut butter chips.

I wasn't prepared for how sticky the mix would be. My first batch is baking now!

I made these a while back - they were gone before the day was over and I made them just after dinner
I liked using yellow cake mix adding in pumpkin pie spice and caramel/toffee chips with a handful of walnuts. Chocolate on chocolate was awesome as well
Thanks for the reminder MTTB I may make some tonight before I visit friends this wknd

My first batch just came out and second one is baking. I was also surprised by the "cement" texture. Lol
I used chocolate cake. Batter was so thick I didn't add anything but instead dropped a few in unsweetened shredded coconut and rolled them around to cover. These are baking now... They do look good!

Okay, these are a huge hit!
I used yellow cake mix and tossed in just chocolate chips.
They are ridiculously delicious!
I even added them to the food page of my blog, I was so impressed!
