    Default $$/multiple question

Ok I have a stupid question....after years of couponing just thought of this right now......if you have a coupon for ex. .50 off Kleenex when you buy 2 boxes can you use it on the bundle pack? Or paper towels 1.00 off 3 rolls use it on a 6 roll bundle pack?
    TIA

the answer is not going to much help, I'm afraid

It totallly depends on your cashier, I have had ones that allow it, and others that have not

Oh. and totally NOT a dumb question!

Actually, I just assume that I can use them....and then if they say "no" I petition, if they still say "no", I don;t buy the item in question.
I will say, that since I use the self check mostly, I don;t have any problems.

I always just assumed that if you had to buy 2 of an item to use the coupon that it meant 2 separate items. I guess I never thought to try it on a multi-pack item.

Technically, the cashier can in fact refuse. And they have every right. When a coupon says "but x #" the store really needs that many bar codes to be reinbursed by the company. Now, if it states bundle, multi pack, etc then it's ok.

For those that it goes through for, that's great!

They never let that go through here unless it says you can use it on a bundle pack,
the scanners just won't accept it.
