    Default Pizza ideas?

I am sick of just putting the usual toppings on my homemade pizza. We usually have pepperoni, on occassion peppers and onions on half.

What are some creative pizzas you make?

I like sundried tomatoes, feta, and black olives.

Before I became a vegetarian, I made BBQ chicken pizza where I used BBQ sauce instead of tomato sauce and topped with grilled chicken, pineapple, green onions and chedder.

We use pizza as an excuse to use up whatever meat/veggies are left over. . . so it's never the same. . .

    ham/pineapple is good

taco meat, kidney beans -- then after it's cooked add chopped tomatoes, lettuce, and sour cream for a taco pizza

    Sausage, mushrooms of course.

white sauce with cream cheese, sour cream and lots of garlic - topped with onions, chicken and mozzarella cheese. . .

I slice up a can of black olives (okokok, at least two) to use on our pizzas. I keep cooked sausage and bacon bits on hand too. I dice up onion to put on DH's and Beak's pizza.

My family loves when I make "Pizza-kabobs"

    Pizza crust
cut up chicken (cooked of course)
    feta cheese
    Greek dressing (creamy) -or- Ceasar
shredded spinach (optional... only if I have some already in the fridge)
shredded cheese (optional, same as spinach)

I like to put LO roast chicken chunks, pineapple and onion

Spinach and mushroom is a huge fave

LO steak, feta , onions and mushrooms is also good (slice the steak very thin and put on pizza after removing from oven. Allow the pizza heat to just warm the steak slices so the meat doesn't overcook and get tough)

I will substitute alfredo sauce for a traditional tomato based sauce to give it a different taste.

I also make a bbq cheeseburger pizza. I substitute BBQ sauce for the tomato sauce. Then I add some cheddar cheese and cooked hamburger meat. Sometimes I will add some cooked onions, olives or mushrooms. Other times I will use shredded chicken breasts in place of the hamburger.

Kids around here seem to like macaroni and cheese pizza. Personally, I am not a fan of it.

I make a desert pizza w/cinnamon sugar cooked in the crust. Next, I layer some cream cheese and then top with peaches, pears, apples and/or pineapples. Finally, I add some confectioners sugar on top.

    I like chicken fajita pizza.
Use salsa instead of pizza sauce. Top with (cooked, cubed or shredded) chicken and already sauteed onions & green peppers, add tomatoes (stewed, diced, homegrown) and top with cheese.

Since most stuff is already cooked its best to prebake the crust then add everything else and return to the oven until the cheese is melted.

    Okay, you asked!

These are some toppings that I love on my pizzas:
    Marinated artichoke hearts
    Green Olives
    Sun Dried tomatoes
    Roasted Red Peppers
    Jalepeno
    Peppers & onions (of course)
    Broccoli
    Mushrooms

You could also do a hummus pizza:
Use the hummus in place of the sauce and add whatever you veggies you like, although you want to sautee them first to get out all of water.
Caramelized onions & peppers are unbelievable on a hummus pizza.

My very favorite to die for pizza is:

Brush the crust very generously with Italian dressing
    Sauteed onion and green pepper
    Baked chicken
    Swiss cheese
    Sometimes black olives or pineapple

The Italian dressing gives it a nice tang and oh, my, the chicken and swiss cheese is do gooooooood!

We like pizza with ranch dressing for the sauce add a mix of mozz and jack cheese and top with chicken.

We also like to use onion marmalade as the sauce add cooked chicken and bacon and then bits of blue cheese on top.
