Okay.. just about finished with that monster container of sour cream
I know last week I asked what I could do, if I could freeze the monster container, dated by the way nov 21st. Right before my holiday cooking.
I have finished it
As everyone knows I inventoried my cabinets, freezer and fridge. So I have gotten real creative.
Today I made baked potatoe pizza.
One bag of the crust you just add water to. (got these marked down at the big lots for 60 cents)
made my crust, pressed it out and precooked it a bit.
then cut up the last of my two potatoes into cubes (small ones)
I sauteed them with a bit of olive oil, pepper, salt, garlic,
and then cut up some bits of onion.
Poured in Bacon Bits (real bacon bits, I buy them at Sams in the big bag) (I no longer do the bacon frying stuff)
After this whole mess browned up a bit.
Took pizza crust and smeared the sour cream all over it. Then put on the mixture then sprinkled with Shredded Cheddar.
In the short, It was sooooo good, sooooo cheap, and I saved what about 15 bucks not ordering..
just wanted to share...

I was a little skeptical at the beginning - potato on a pizza? - but by the time I got to the end my mouth was watering. Sounds yummy.

There's a restaurant near my work that makes something like this. I couldn't pin down the recipe. This sounds perfect! Thanks! I can't wait to try it! Yummo!

I love your creativeness! Sounds yummy!
We use whole wheat pita bread for a pizza crust and put all kinds of things on it but I never used potatoes on mine, most anything else is game though.
There's a place that had macaroni and cheese on a pizza. Went for my Dd's birthday. It was called Cici's Pizza Buffet. You can request an odd combo of things on a pizza and they will make one up and put it on the buffet. They have a website, too.

Wow... what a creative idea. I would never be able to come up with something like that on my own!
Sounds delicious though.
