Mild Sloppy Joes
Mild Sloppy Joes
1 can tomato soup
1 can cr. of mushroom
1 cup finely chopped onion
1 cup finely chopped celery
5 lbs of lean hamburger browned and drained really dry
1 TB worchestershire sauce
1/4 c brown sugar
1-2 TB flour to thicken sauce if needed.
optional-
1/4 cup minced green bell pepper
1/4 cup favorite Barbeque sauce to give smokey flavor
salt and pepper to taste.
Once the meat is browned just add the rest of the ingredients and slowly cook until the sauce has thickened enough to stay on a hamburger bun.
It works great in a crock pot and served with Lays Potato chips for dunking into.
Football tailgate season is here.

Sounds yummy. Sometimes you want sloppy joes but you're tired of the same old-same old. Thanks for the recipe.
