    Default Another Update

    We are working with my full time job paycheck and my husband's ssdi check for the last 3 years. Before that my dh had some temp jobs with the state and then did some counseling for about a year before he became permanently disabled. We got rid of the credit cards early, knocked off the 2nd mortgage, paid off two cars and still managed to fix stuff as it broke without going into debt.

    We are nearly done with baby step two (yes, it took forever to do it). We paid off my car with our tax refund this past Feb, but still have a hospital ER bill ($75 a month no interest) that we have about $2,000.00 left on).

    Our snowball is up to about $1,100.00 a month and for the last year we've been fixing stuff on the house so that we could sell it and move back to OKC (from Guthrie).

    We have a contract on our house and barring problems with inspections and everything that goes with buying and selling a home, we'll be back in OKC at the end of the month.

    So I want to encourage EVERYONE to stick with it. It can be done.

    Thsnk you both. It has been such a long road and like everyone else, there is so much more that I haven't gone into that we have been through.

    Thank you all. We've had a delay in closing on our house, so hopefully we'll be moved the first week of May.

    Oh we are just moving from Guthrie, OK back to OKC. I get to telework so I work from home all but one day a month. I've been a teleworker for 4 years now and it helped so much with saving on gas for the car! God has been so good to us!

    We are hoping to close this coming Monday. Praying everything comes together the way it should.
