I am really confident that I'll be able to reach my goals this year. Yesterday, I paid off my line of credit which wasn't a goal but it's nice to have that gone. I paid $149 extra on my lowest student loan along with my regular payment so that loan is down to $950. My dog has a vet appointment on Friday which I'm expecting will cost around $120 - at least that's what I paid last year. I'll have around $300 left in my checking which will go towards my lowest student loan. Besides working on my business, I've been doing surveys on Amazon's Mechanical Turk to make extra money. I've already made around $75 in the first few days of the month. I also plan on selling some stuff on eBay to make some extra money. All extra money I make will go towards my student loans.

Just this morning I donated $25 to the Beagle Freedom Project and $25 to the local humane society, BENCHS (a no-kill shelter). That checks off my $50 charity donations for January. I'll be donating to 2 new charities each month. There are so many charities that need help that I couldn't pick just one or two. I ended up with a list of 26 different charities that I would like to help this year. I probably could have found even more charities but I don't want to go broke. LOL!
    2018 Financial Goals:

    Emergency Fund: $0.87/$1,000
Line of Credit: $1700/$1700 - Done!
    Fence Fund: $1,900/$1,900 - Done!
    Bathroom Fund: $100/$4,000
    Student Loans: $430.76/$15,000
    Cruise: $0/$3,087

Your mail-box and email is going to be flooded, the 26 companies share your name with similar charities. Is there a single favorite charity that is for the same cause as the 26?

I'm gonna add a car payment tracker but it's not a 2017 goal this year. I have 20 more payments, so if I can somehow squeeze 8 additional payments out, yay, if not i'm not sweating it right now. It might be a possibility later in summer when our grocery budget dips down to practically nothing and I get some debt paid off. And maybe, just maybe DH will get OT instead of short days. :/

Today was a short check week. So our normal $100 to furnace, and then I car payment being sent with hubby to hand in tomorrow. So that leaves 19 car payments left!

I was going to go to Costco today, but I will only have enough for a tank of gas and maybe $20 in grocery money so that's what I will do! Frugal is as frugal does! I got plenty of food, just need a couple fill ins.

I just paid an extra $250 to my smallest student loan which brings the balance down to around $700. I should be able to pay another $500 towards the balance at the end of January/beginning of February.

Had our big discussion on the money thing:
Mostly how I planned it above. Once the
cable thing is done it will work out well

    Approved:
    additional $30.00 to mortgage principle
    add 52 week --$50.00
opened a savings account to keep ef, hm,cm,d,m, 52
    ?$50 addition

getting rid of cable, just keeping internet
bought firestick box and new streaming company

Ten days into 2017 and I have paid down $2,096.05 on my debt so far.

That brings the remainder down to $29,633.75. Nice to pass that $30K milestone.

More will follow! I am excited to pay this all off this year.

Not a big savings month so far. But we've spent next to nothing, so when my paycheck clears this Thursday, I should be able to transfer a few thousands to the savings account. Looking forward to seeing the needle moving.
    Total paid/saved: $214 900
    Total goal: $304 900
    To do: $90 000

I'm on a no spend this month which is: no frivolous things, no eating out, no lunch at work, no kids school lunch. I almost broke on Sunday when I had to have leftover chili.

I really just want fries. I'm gonna buy some next grocery run. In fact I made a list of things I want to eat, and if I don't buy them then I will deviate from my plan. :/

I hate chili was really the point of this post.

Desire~I really hate when that happens..My disabled brother and myself are pretty picky about food where my dh and kids aren't really..

So I learned to make freezer meals for myself, like I love split pea, barley and ham soup, can eat it for days in a row...we always have leftovers as I make a 10qt pot so I then put the soup into several containers put in the freezer
for those days that I don't care for the supper..like meatloaf gross! My brother is legally blind so I buy him lots of his favorite freezer foods where he can be independent and use the toaster/pizza oven to cook his foods..

I just wanted to share what I do..Btw~ I love homemade French fries!

Really trying to save this week. I THOUGHT I just had to go to Home Depot however dug around in the garage and "made due" (improvised ) with what I already had on hand thus avoided spending money. I have to work on finding grain free breakfast ideas that are not high protein as I don't want to spend $$ on going out to eat cheap ready made breakfast foods.
    Blessed and Highly Favored!!!!
From $78K in debt to debt free and purchased a house and used car with 100% cash...God is sooo Good!!!

    Goals:
    New to me vehicle

Paid another $100 to the furnace. Half way there!

I did go out and get things I enjoyed eating, so now I'm looking forward to next weeks lunches a bit more.

Still on no spend 13/13 days done!
