My first trip to Aldis
I didn’t know what aldi was until I found this website and was surprised to find one two blocks from my dorm.
I have been buying whole chickens for 6-7.00 a piece at Festival foods.
Aldi had one bigger for 2.30. My jaw dropped. I also got a can of cream of chicken soup for about .50 vs. 1.20 or some such.
Aldi is awesome.

I love Aldi's too!
I have to admit that I used to think Aldi's was really nasty...until I moved back to Illinois and saw the updates that were made. I've started shopping for almost everything grocery at Aldi's. I rave to everyone I know about how much I'm saving and the good quality of the product I'm getting. I always feel like I'm getting more "bang for my buck" and that gets me excited. I like to make a game out of it!

milk for $1.99!
Today I was delighted to find that all the ALdi's milk was $1.99 a gallon!! It was not close dated or anything like that! They limited the 2% to 2 per person but the other milk was also on sale same price (1.99) and no limit!
Cheese, however, was NOT a good price at all! I got the milk, a bag of russet potatoes (10# for 2.99) and some frozen fruit. That's the least I've ever bought at Aldi's but I'm so stocked up now I don't dare buy any more food for awhile.

Aldi's is my best friend once a month. I love how they are getting more healthier food and a much better selection.
That is one grocery store that I don't dread to shop at.
Yeah, I love their brand of cheese but I really don't find it much cheaper.

I love Aldis. We buy a lot of our food their. The only part I don't like is that our Aldis' produce is a hit and miss. Sometimes it's great and sometimes it's old.

I love Aldi's! I only go once per month because it's about 30 miles from us. Worth the gas though if I combine other errands while I'm in town. The milk is so much cheaper and I hate paying the higher prices at my local store... does anyone know if it is okay for me to freeze milk?
