    my father used to say that if they had to label it as "food" as in "cheese food" it really wasn't edible. Of course he used to say that some breakfast cereals weren't cereals but really were candy in disguise....

    You may want to take the product back to Ald's. They are good about stuff like this. Recently I took 2 produce items back, and got my money back for them, plus a bag each of the produce to try again. It's like a double your money back guarantee.
