Smile Easter 2016, What's your plans???

Easter is just two weeks away....we will be spending it alone .....so, no cooking for me....no baking....no Easter egg hunts....I'm a little sad but it won't be the first time we've been alone on a holiday......I will decorate my table and enjoy it.....have Easter baskets for 8 little kids I know so I got my Easter basket "fix."

What are your plans? Who's cooking? What are you cooking??? We will eat out....I don't cook on the weekends...LOL

I don't even want to think about Easter! It is too early this year! I guess we'll have to plan something. It is just the three of us.

We alternate years with my parents and DH's extended family. This is the year for the cousins and in-laws. It's always a lot of fun. His cousins host everyone and do a nice Easter egg hunt for the little ones. Everyone brings part of the meal. It's so great and I can't wait!

Church that morning, then dinner with DH, DS, DD, and maybe DD's boyfriend. Ham, scalloped potatoes, butter beans, salad, and several desserts.

We'll have church in the morning then the family over in the afternoon. We usually hide eggs for the grandbabies and always have Easter baskets for them. The meal is usually ham, potato, rolls, veggie and dessert of some sort. I vary on that one. We don't have a traditional dessert we serve on Easter. Sometimes it's a cake shaped like a lamb, sometimes it's cheesecake or pie. Just depends on my mood when I'm ready to bake the day before.
