perugina eggs
Am I the only oddball here? These things were everywhere in NY and I can't find even one here in MI.

Well, I don't think you are an oddball Sara, but I have never heard of those eggs. What are they?

I really like them because they are fun with the little prize. It's always something kinda silly like a plastic toy.

I think Rochester has a high Italian population and I think that's why they could be found everywhere.
I picked a few up here in Rochester.

I used to go there for lunch a lot.

Those are really pretty.
A much cheaper (I'm guessing!) and less pretty version can be found at WalMart~ Nestle Crunch mini bars inside a huge chocolate egg.

I did read online that Nestle had a version. That would be ok since I mostly want to get one for Zachary. I just had some good memories of the types I posted above. My first one, I got some sort of plastic monkey. Now you see the wrapping and it looks like it's really something...then imagine chomping away at the egg and wondering what's inside???? and then getting this plastic monkey. rofl

The prize just adds to the fun! That's why I like christmas crackers, cracker jacks & read cereal boxes to see which one has the coolest toy inside. Just bought some cheerioes with a free book inside. We got Click Clack Moo.
Good luck on your hunt Sara. I'm also another NY'r who hasn't seen those before.

I have never seen them, but they look really nice. I hope you can find some for Zachary.

They have things like that here in Germany. They aren't wrapped up that pretty though. But they have a toy inside.
