Early Sunday we plan on helping out at church, getting tables ready in Fellowship Hall for a Easter breakfast/ brunch. Then we'll help hide plastic eggs. After that, services, and that will be followed by helping the kids hunt for eggs.

We're going to my SIL's new place for dinner. We'll do an Easter egg hunt there and other kid-friendly Easter activities.

We got to church on Good Friday morning and then on Sunday morning. After church on Sunday we are heading over to my mil and then on to my parents for supper. We'll be having ham, potatoes, brocolli/cauliflower dish in crockpot, carrots, salads, buns, and lots of desserts. AFter supper we have an egg hunt outside for the kids. This years blessing will be read by one of the kids:
Lord Jesus You accepted the cross
for love of us, that we may find new life
and healing of our deepest wounds through You.
Lord Jesus, help us to accept our crosses in life
for love of You and the Glory of Our Heavenly Father
and to help lead others to do the same.
In Your Holy Name Dear Jesus, I humbly pray!

DH and I will both be working. I was hoping to have an Easter Egg hunt, with dd (age 7) and grandsons (ages 4 and 8). I have not seen oldest dd and grandkids since last July. They will be in town this weekend, but I have to work both days. We will try to get together for a meal sometime while they are here.

We'll be going to Mom's, she is cooking. I'm only guessing here, but I think ham, mashed potatoes, deviled eggs, tossed salad?, a couple of veggies and tons of condiments are on the menu.
I'm in charge of the dessert, anyone got any ideas for me????Need it big enough to feed at least 12.

Good Friday the boys and their band are playing for the communion service at a local church. Sunday will find us at our church serving communion and enjoying the day.
We'll come home to scalloped potatoes and ham in the crockpot, green beans, fruit salad and a cake.

Going to spend a quiet Easter Sunday by myself. I will go across the road to the church in the morning. In the afternoon I will visit a garden which is open to the public once a year and enjoy the beautiful spring flowers. Then in the evening I shall cook myself a very special Easter dinner.

If my dad is feeling ok, we are going to have supper at my parents' on sunday. My sister won't be coming...
It's always like this on holidays....she complicates things...my mom is so sad about this....sorry, I sound unjoyful, but this is Easter in our family....and Christmas....and birthdays, and.....all the other special days....

Lucie,
Try not to feel too bad about your Sister. There is always one in the Family like that.
I have one Boy we only see 1-2 times a year. He only lives 70 miles away. Appartently He doesn't want to associate with the rest of the family.
I have had to learn to take in stride!
You & Yours have a wonderful Easter in spite of her!
