    Smile Easter Hat Parade

Our church wanted to do something fun for Easter, along with the usual egg hunt and covered dish dinner so they came up with the idea of an Easter Hat Parade and I love it. You can decorate a hat, bonnet, ball cap, or anything you can put on your head. I think this will be so much fun. I'm way more into it than Ryan is though. She thinks it's silly. I've already got a straw hat and I can't wait to get to Dollar Tree to find me some stuff to hot glue to it! I want Easter grass and eggs and bunnies, oh boy! Ryan wants to decorate a pink ball cap. I'm going to buy her bunny ears to put on it. Wish you could all be there for the parade.

I think that's such a neat idea. We ought to do it here on FV as a contest.

    Any takers? I'd join in.

We do this every year at work--- and the house supervisor comes around and judges them.

I won honorable mention the year I did a straw cowboy hat with Spring themed ribbons and chicken stick pins.

Great idea Sara, but I guess since I have to do one for church it probably wouldn't be fair for me to participate. I'd certainly be willing to tell each of you how wonderful you looked!
