Use them to put snacks in the kids lunches. Little girls hair accessories. Give aways at childrens birthday's filled with stickers and treats. To store small parts in kids toys so they don't get lost. My daughter had a polly pocket and we were forever looking for that little doll, she kept dropping her. Put some smaller wax crayons in and put in in your purse. When you are stuck somewhere with the kids and they are bored they can color. Or use them as rewards for good behaviour. Fill them with different surprises so they never now what the reward will be. That's all I can think of right now.

If you eneed a kids craft you can make turtles. Draw a turtle body on plain cardstock or construction paper. Let the kids color and add google eyes. Glue on half an egg as the shell.

if your kids are old enough -- fill them with popcorn, beans or BB's and use as musical shakers.
use to hold coins on dresser top or in purse

Do you happen to sew?
I have seen people sew little white cloth circles with yellow dots on them,
Like a tiny little egg pillow. This goes inside the egg.
I noticed the Hearth Song Catalog sells them as an egg game now too.

Make a mosaic display?
Like these folks do, they call it Eggshell Land.
It takes awhile to load because of all the pictures, and the Jetsons theme music, but it's worth a look. I think they paint actual eggshells, but I don't see why the idea wouldn't work with plastic ones. I find it absolutely amazing that they've done this for 50 years.

Easter will be here before you know it. Save them so you don't have to buy any new ones.
You can add felt to them to make them look like bunnies. Add googly eyes, glue felt ears on the side and cotton balls on the end. Draw on a nose and whiskers with a marker. Add the candy inside and you have a cute little addition to your easter basket.
Since you have so many, you could start making them now and store them away to have them ready in April.

First thought -- knee highs
I think it was a flashback to the days I could fit in to the nylons that came in the little eggs.
The Old Man's grandmother has a collection of 'eggs'. I found an egg that looked like something she would have and gave it to him so he wouldn't feel so homesick...
Something simple and beautiful. Turn them in to 'Faberge eggs'. glue them closed ... Some pretty wrapping paper, tissue paper, ribbons, glitter... whatever and get creative.
Take a look -- Most of the eggs open and have a petite sculpture in it, but these are solid -- Eggs
I would love to have a basket full of beautiful eggs like these, Old Man's Grandmother has the solid ones, but at those prices, I can guarentee they aren't originals

uses for plastic easter eggs
I drill two small holes in the fat end of the eggs, run small wire through holes, twist ends together to make a hanger. Hang the eggs on a tree as you would Christmas decorations. They are especially showy on an evergreen tree for Easter. Since my Christmas wreath is still green, I will attach eggs to it and make a big pastel color bow too.

I have heard of others painting them to make them look like the prim style egg decorations. Also I have made a wreath with them. Just glue on Easter grass (hard to do) on a straw wreath, and then glue the eggs on that. Very pretty seasonal decoration.
