    Default Inauguration Day Activities

A schedule of events and activities

    http://inaugurationday2009.com/schedule.html

And some craft and party ideas

    http://holidays.kaboose.com/inauguration-day.html

My homeschool group is getting together to watch the swearing in, make crafts, and eat "presidential snacks". We want to make it really fun and memorable so our kids will always remember this day. Even those in our group who voted for the other guy want their kids to be able to tell their own children that they witnessed history. And besides, who can pass up an excuse to have a party.

I'll sit at home and read "Atlas Shrugged." Fitting, don't you think?

I downloaded the 68 page book the day it was free. We will pick and choose what we use as it really has ideas and activities for various levels of understanding. Anyway, if anyone would like a copy send me a private message with your e-mail address and I will send it to you.
