Have you found effective ways to make money from home?

My side business is almost entirely online and home based and I'm making about $5500/month on average with it. It won't be too long before I make it a full time business.

I have seen tons of ways to make money offline - with varying hourly rates of course. Some are quite tedious - like the surveys for instance. Others though, like selling classes online can be quite lucrative. Still others, like photographers selling stock photographs or merchandise that utilizes their pictures, can build upon a hobby that brings you pleasure and at least cover the cost of your materials and time (and sometimes a lot more).

People need to be willing to learn new skills (technology) or willing to pay someone else to do things for them, but I think the internet has opened up enormous possibilities for home based businesses and side hustles. They also need to be open minded and not so quick to assume that things like that couldn't work for them.

One thing I think this article left out was the huge number of remote jobs out there these days.

Look up "remote jobs" on Google. You might be surprised how many companies allow their employees to work from home now.

I actually went back and read the article. Honestly, I find that article really lacking. There's tons of ways to make money from home and that didn't even scratch the surface.

Depending on where you live, I have heard of people making good money dog walking.
