Is the price of gasoline increasing in your area?
Anyone forecasting bullish oil prices can guide themselves by a belief that finite resources must always increase in price. Additionally, there’s often a belief that increasing oil demand in countries like China will cause costs to rise. None of these assumptions are imminent, though, since oil prices are so dependent on world events and politics. For example, the 2003 Iraq War is responsible for a lengthy loss of oil production, in addition to other events, like the 2002/3 strike in Venezuela, Hurricane Katrina, the Macondo Disaster and the Arab spring cutting off an amount of crude from Libya. Is It Possible to Predict Oil Prices?
How much are you paying now?
Will it have an impact on your summer travel plans?

Gas has been going up about 10c a month since Christmas. We have some of the lowest prices in the nation, it is about 2.50 /gal here, but I see a few places that still have it lower, 2.35, 2.40, etc. We are planning to go someplace where gas is even cheaper, so no, it won't affect our driving plans.
When it comes down to it, gas is usually the least expensive component of our travel plans. Compared to hotel rooms, event fees, and food, gas is pretty cheap.Stop trying to organize all of your family’s crap. If organization worked for you, you’d have rocked it by now. It’s time to ditch stuff and de-crapify your world.
If you're not using the stuff in your home, get rid of it. You're not going to start using it more by shoving it into a closet.

Gas is usually our biggest expense on a trip, so we have the opposite problem. We are in our prime years right now to travel, and if we stay home it won't be due to high gas prices. We know we'd regret it later.
We were in Missouri the week gas first went to $4/gallon a few years ago. What were we going to do, not drive home?
This year we will most likely stay within 800 miles or so of home, so on shorter trips like that, a price increase isn't so bad overall.

Yes it's going up.
Central Florida is pretty much $2.65.
No travel plans.
I read this morning an article which I went back to try to find to post the link but couldn't find it. According to the article it's not going to get better.
I can't really cut back driving much more than I already do. Yes, it will affect us if it goes much higher.Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

We usually drive electric, but right now we have a petrol fuelled loaner because our car is getting repaired. We are visiting my parents next weekend, so unless we get our EV back by then, we'll be paying for petrol for the 1400 km drive. Normally, driving electric and speedcharging, the fuel cost for he trip would be less than $40. Using petrol, we are looking at at least $110, plus road tax and ferry (those are free or heavily discounted for EVs).
Our summer holiday will be in the EV. We are planning to tour the UK.Debt: -$60 000
Savings: $43 200

It's about $8.50/gallon in Denmark, which is higher than usual. It's usually closer to $8.

I know the price has gone up and I think it's around $2.50 and diesel is closer to $2.85.
It hasn't changed our driving because I'm working 2.5 hours from home. Every other weekend I come home and on the other weekend hubby comes up. We have no travel plans this summer due to me starting a new job.

It was still 2.55 at the corner this morning when I went for bread, but I see it has crept up to 2.71-79 in most places around town. Will only get worse before Memorial Day. I'm not planning a lot of driving between now and then.
