Do You Struggle Getting Kids To Play Outside?
During the winter, you can’t blame your kids for wanting to stay indoors. Not only can freezing temperatures be unpleasant, but they can actually be dangerous. I tell them we're going outside. So far, that's all that's been needed. We have a bunch of things they can do outside; a garden-turned-sandbox, chalk, toys, balls, a water table if it's nice, bikes, simple building materials. We spend a fair amount of time outside as a family, from going to parks, walks around the block, or hiking, that it isn't difficult for them to find something to do. Even in colder temperatures, depending on wind and precipitation.
