February Baking Challenge 2010
It seems so obvious with valentines day next month.
Love is in the air........remembering friends.......
How does thic challenge sound? Bake something you love to give to someone you know who might not be getting a valentine.

I'm in! I have a round cake pan that has a built in circle of
5 small separate heart pans in it. I am going to try making
meringue hearts and/or chocolate filagree hearts to top the
small cakes. I will be icing them in light pink. I am also going
to make sugar cookie hearts.
I love Valentine's Day!

I think I am going to join in on this. I know several people who will not be getting a Valentine.

Very sad to be separated from friends or family. I know I refused communication with my family for over 10 years. God healed my heart and we are now close.
Glad to know we're going to spread the love!

Vickilynn,
This is a wonderful idea! I had to think awhile of who I knew that probably wouldn't get a Valentine and I came up with 10 people
that will be getting a heart cake and cookies.

I'm in.
The little lady that I visit won't be getting one from anyone so she will get one. She is having trouble with her teeth so that means something with no nuts and nothing hard or chewy...hmmmm. Some sort of cake/muffin I guess. She can't 'bite' cookies.

This does sound like a challenge...not sure what to make for my gf who says she enjoys being single yet yearns to find a mate. And my dad as well. I'll need to think about this!

This is a wonderful idea!!! I'm in again. Off the top of my head I know one of the ladies at work that swore off relationships years ago would really appreciate this.

I saw a recipe in my 1 magazine for a chocolate pie. Low fat and no sugar recipe. I think I will make that this month. Of course I will make my normal cookies and cupcakes. Sense it is February most of the cookies and cupcakes will be pink or heart themed.
I don't buy any kind of bake goods. I make all my own. I made my bread this morning for the week. I made some cranberry bread. I will do a February theme all month.
