OK...so here is my plan for the first week and a half of July (it's helpful for me to only do about 1.5-2 weeks at a time). It's on the calendar and if everything works as I've planned it, we will only eat out once, and that's for lunch! The things I've marked with an * are new recipes I'm planning on trying.

1 - Pork loin with mashed potatoes* (I'm marking this as a new recipe but only because it's one of those pre-marinated pork loins I purchased on a big sale at the store. I don't know if my family will like it, but I guess we'll see.)
2 - Crockpot beans and noodles
    3 - Enchiladas
    4 - Brats & hot dogs
    5 - Leftovers
    6 - Parmesan bowtie pasta w/ chicken*
7 - Asian pork lettuce wraps
    8 - Tostadas
    9 - Beer can chicken
    10 - Pasta puttanesca w/ shrimp
    11 - Pizza

Our trip plans got canceled, possibly for the entire year, so I sort of forgot about this challenge. I guess I'll be dropping out till next year at least.

I'm jumping on board for this too:

Thursday - peppered liver, cabbage & Mash
Friday - Cod, Peas & Baked Potatoes
Saturday - Mince beef stew, green beans & Mash
Sunday - Roast Chicken, Carrot & Parsnip Mash, Broccoli & Roast Potatoes. Desert Apple crumble & cream
Monday - Bacon, cabbage & Mash
Tuesday - Chicken & Bacon Pie (using leftovers) with greens and mash
Wednesday - Sausage Stew with Rice

Back to school so lunches for the kids will be sandwiches, veg & fruit with soup for when they come home.
Breakfast will be porridge mid-week, scrambled eggs on sat & sun will be pancakes that DH loves to make
Other - Tea Brack, scones & buns

Ok I've fallen off the meal planning wagon, but I think I only grabbed take out once in the last month and a half because of it. However, I do feel my stress level rising when I don't have a dinner plan. I got some stressful things going on in my life right now, so no need for more!

Tonight: Rotisserie chicken from Costco, potatoes and corn
    10/9- L/O
10/10- Ham and Bean soup with cornbread
    10/11- L/O
10/12- Italian Sunday Supper with meatballs
10/13- Chicken soup w/ popovers (using the rot. chicken carcass)
10/14- Meatball subs (leftover meatballs from 12th)
    10/15- L/O
10/16- Backstraps (venison), baked tatoes, veg of choice
10/17- Out? (6th anniversary for us this weekend)
10/18- Italian Sunday Supper- Meat I'm not sure. Got short ribs, could make a roll to braise...
    10/19- L/O
    10/20- Burrito Bowls (chicken)
10/21- Crockpot round steak and gravy with mash and veg
10/22- Shredded beef enchiladas with beans and rice
    10/23- L/O
10/24- L/O, sandwiches or freezer meal (aka i'm not cooking!)
10/25- Butter chicken with homemade naan and rice
    10/26- Crockpot chili
10/27- BBQ chicken legs, taters and veg
    10/28- L/O

I'm not sure of my work schedule after that and I like to base my meals when I work/When hubby has night class/ when I work pm shift, etc.
