Last week's plan got a little scrambled, but we got through some of it at least. This week should be calmer.
-- BLT sandwiches, side salad
-- spinach salad, roll
-- l/o burgers, veg/salad
-- l/o pulled pork tacos, rice&beans, summer squash
-- chicken, broccoli
-- mahi burger, sweet potato fries
-- potluck?Stop trying to organize all of your family’s crap. If organization worked for you, you’d have rocked it by now. It’s time to ditch stuff and de-crapify your world.
If you're not using the stuff in your home, get rid of it. You're not going to start using it more by shoving it into a closet.

Things never go as planned. I still have quite a bit in the freezer. So much going on lately, we seem to just eat when we get a chance. Sometimes at home sometimes out. Doesn't do well for the budget.
- pork chops
-teriyaki chicken things
-chicken breasts (will probably make 2-3 meals depending on how many I feed)
-pot roast (sunday)
-bacon (either breakfast or blt)
-shrimp
-turkey keilbasa -

so far it looks like not much was used from the freezer while I was gone. haven't looked downstairs. I know dh didn't because he texted me that he bought more cheese and I was wow you went though all the stuff in the freezer lol. ds cooked a lot so he just bought fresh and some things that are his cooking speed. frozen pizzas, burgers etc. didn't use any frozen cooked stuff like spaghetti sauce or chicken soup.
so I need to do an inventory and see what was used and what needs using up. need some fresh veg and fruit. -

I've been lucky as foodstuffs have been used while I was out of commission. Looks like the freezers are dwindling and frozen cheese, pizzas, chicken, oven chicken, oven fries and hot dogs gone.
This week, the menu looks like this:
- bagel sandwiches
- chicken parm
- chicken soft tacos w/onions, tomatoes, cheese
- tuna sandwiches
- scalloped potatoes & ham -

Chicken pot pie sounds good. We had the BC scalloped potatoes from a box and I was thinking the sauce & potatoes would make a good pot pie, just add vegs and chicken and top w/ pie crust. We have meatballs in the freezer and hubby told me he bought a frozen lasagne. Not feeling very motivated to cook this week.

- Chicken soup
I'll make breads- focaccia or farmhouse. I'll make cookies or pumpkin chip bread too. -
