When I saw the Betty Crocker Warn Delights I thought of these recipes....I've had them for ages. Never got to try them, but you can use your oven also. Might give someone ideas.

Chocolate Cake
serv 11

1 c sugar
3 T cocoa powder
1 1/2 c flour
1 tsp bs(baking soda)
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 c shortening

Sift all dry ingred,cut in shortening. Spoon about 1/3 c mix into 11 bags(like ziplock-and of course now we have those tupperware like containers). Label and store in cool,dry place. Use within 12 weeks.

To use add to one container 4 tsp water. Stir until blended and smooth. Pour into greased and floured 4" baking pan. Follow oven directions or bake 12-13 min at 375F. Cool in pan on rack 5 min. Invert onto plate.

Choc Icing
9 serv(I have no idea why it makes less)

2 c powdered sugar
3 T instant,nonfat dry milk powder
1/2 c cocoa
6 T shortening

Sift dry ingred,cut in shortening. Spoon about 1/3 c mix into 9 bags. Label and date. Store in cool dry place. Use within 12 weeks.

To use add 3/4 tsp water to one package and stir until smooth. Makes about 1/4 c.

White Cake Mix
10 serv

1 c sugar
1 1/2 c flour
1 tsp bs
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 c shortening
*to flavor -ex lemon,cherry etc...add 1 tsp unsweetened drink powder(like kool-aid)to mix before sifting[I thought maybe even a little spice would work also].

Mix same as previous cake mix.

White Icing
8 serv

2 c powdered sugar
3 T instant,nonfat dry milk powder
6 T shortening

Mix same as prev icing mix. Also when mixing w water a few drops of flavoring-ex van,almond etc...may be added.
