200g unsalted butter
200g Demerara sugar
400g Quaker oats
50g glacé cherries
Found this recipe on the net. It says to melt the honey, butter and sugar in a pan then add the dry ingredients until thoroughly mixed.
Then bake for 15-20 mins until the edges are golden and the middle's chewy. You then cut into slices.
I'll be leaving the cherries out, as we're not keen on cherries here.
I was wondering if anyone has an opinion on how long these will keep in an airtight container? There was nothing about storage with the recipe.
