Is anyone watching The Week the Women Left? (Canadians)
We watched it last year when it was from Alberta. This year it's from the east coast.
We had lots of fun watching it last year and are doing so again. It's a total hoot!!

I watched it last year....this year it is a town very close to us! My husband goes to school with a man who lives there and my son plays hockey against tatamagouche! Its funnier when you know the area!

I didnt get a chance to watch the Alberta one (and I live here!) but I am watching the east coast one.
Everytime they do a fly over of the town, I tell my hubby I want to move there - it just looks so nice!!!
So far, we're enjoying watching it; DH is getting a kick out of some of the husbands

I watched the episode where they were getting ready to get on the buses, but I haven't watched it since. I really like shows like that and I might have to watch it again... if I can remember to watch it.

It sounds like a show TLC was going to do here in the US. The town my parents live in was up for it. They went to all the informational meetings and "auditions".
This was about 2 years ago. I don't know if they scrapped it here, or if they've been working on it and it just hasn't aired yet. Either way, they didn't choose my parents town for it!
I've never actually seen it, since we don't have it here, but it sounds like a riot!

I heard today that the little local motel there was booked solid for the summer 2 days after the first episode aired. The town is a little remote so thats a huge thing for them. The publicity is obviously working!!

The only one I'm not really into right now is the girl who lives off grid and cried to get her bf to paint her floor while she's gone.....I hope they don't devote much of the show to her.
Can't wait to watch again this week, altho..not too impressed with the bahaviour of the Red Hat ladies, but IM HOPING they told them to ham it u pfor the show? :S

I caught the show when Micah was teaching his daughter about guns in the gun shop. I got a chuckle out of that. She's what? all of a year old? And using the tomatoes for skeets. Man, I wouldn't know whether to be mad or die laughing! I sure hope their wives have a sense of humour!
I didn't see the Red Hat one. I think that's on this week here, but I could be wrong. I suspect they hammed it up quite a bit. The Red Hatters are known for not being very serious... it's a ladies social club.

The Red Hat episode is on this week and I can't wait to see them. They truly are known to ham it up and have a whale of a good time. I use to belong to the group.
Using the tomatoes for skeets....who that wife is going to be upset. She's the one who wanted him to take care of her garden and paint the floor of her cabin.

Nope, those are two different women.
One asked her hubby to take care of her garden (and he ended up taking the nice juicy tomatoes and using them as skeets!!!LOL); there is another lady who lives off grid and she was the one that asked her BF to watch her animals, care for her garden, and paint her floor.
I liked the off grid lady until she started crying about the floor....ugh, what a drama queen!
My hubby thought Micah taking the kids to the gun store was hilarious....I rolled my eyes sarcastically at him and pointed it out that he'd do the same thing if I was gone...he thought about it for a whole half a second before he grinned from ear to ear and said "You betcha!!"What a goofball
