Books for Cdns?
I've found it difficult, over the years, to find books suited to the Canadian situation in the areas of personal finance and frugality. Do any of you know of any good ones specific to Canada?
I'm reading one on personal finance about a lady who retired at 35 and lived in Ontario the whole time she was amassing the money to do it. It's [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Stop-Working-Start-Living-retired-without/dp/1550224840"]"Stop Working...Start Living"[/ame] by Dianne Nahirny. She embraced a frugal lifestyle, without ever mentioning the word!
Any more good Canadian books out there?

The Wealthy Barber is the most popular financial planning book in Canada. My father got me to read it when I was in high school, it's something all young people should read. If you are already approaching retirement it may not have a lot of benefit.
At this point in your financial life you may get more out of this one:

I haven't read it, but it is supposed to be good.

that reminds me...Ernie Zelinski has a whack of retirement books out too. He's from Edmonton.
[ame="http://www.amazon.ca/Joy-Not-Working-Unemployed-Overworked/dp/1580085520"]"The Joy of Not Working"[/ame]
[ame="http://www.amazon.ca/How-Retire-Happy-Wild-Free/dp/096941949X/ref=pd_sim_b_1"]"How to Retire happy, Wild and Free"[/ame]
[ame="http://www.amazon.ca/Career-Success-Without-Real-Job/dp/1580089674/ref=pd_sim_b_3"]"Career Success Without a Real Job"[/ame]
And then there's Charles Long's [ame="http://www.amazon.ca/How-survive-without-salary-conserver/dp/1895629683/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1265084983&sr=1-1"]"How To Survive Without a Salary"[/ame].
Hmmm...still thinking...can't find my copy of Charlie Long's book...
ETA: Just thought of one I saw last fall..."Nova Scotia Guide to Frugal Living" by Carol McDougall.
