Loblaws buys Shoppers Drug Mart
I will be watching carefully to see what is going to happen to the SDM points. There will probably be a deadline for spending them.

Everyone is asking on Facebook about the points, and all SDM is saying is for now it is business as usual. On the news it was said the merger wouldn't take place for a few months.I may just spend my points, just in case.

I'm holding onto my points for now until they officially announce a change. I'm almost at $100 worth and I don't shop there often. Saving up to buy me a new perfume for Christmas

From everything I've read, they are keeping the points the same. I'm hoping so, because I have lots, and I'm waiting for the $220 redemption!

On the news they said the points will stay as is. PCpoints plus and Optimum points are both staying as is. Will there be changes? Possibly, but not in the immediate future. I think PCpoints could take a lesson from Optimum. Points Plus isa step in the right direction, hoping improvements continue.
