I just got an Energy Cost Benefit $250!
Any other Canadians get one?
I must of missed something somewhere because this is totally unexpected.....Yippppeeeeee! I sure can use it.

You only get one if you get the Child Tax Benefit. If you don't get that, you won't get one.
It's a one time check and tax free.

Well there'd be the little problem of that operation a couple years back. Got fixed I did. Sang Auld Lang Syne to it the night before the operation as I unloaded that fully loaded water balloon on the surgeon who did the hysterectomy.
I'm thinking it's the kids turn now to go out and provide me with Grandchildren!!!!
As for me, well I'm enjoying life to the full, never having realized till after the surgery how much nicer life is without the old equipment.

Hey Winner, these were a one time payment for Canadians who receive the child tax benefit, I'm in BC also and I received mine in 2006.
