I'm afraid my knowledge of Belgium is limited to lace and chocolate. Oh, and Hercules Poiroit.

Lace and chocolate are not frugal..... but especially the chocolate is goooooood! They have a 'chocolate law' here, stating what chocolate should be like to be sold as chocolate. All other chocolate-like products are sold as 'fantasy cocoa'.
